Maybe, you have heard the similar complaints that “I recently changed Windows 7 Administrator password because my son was downloading to many files, but now that I’ve got him to stop download, I forgot Windows Administrator password, so when I try to download, it will ask me for the administrator password, which I don’t know. I don’t have any Windows password recovery disks and I can download anything to help me with the password. Is there any way I can reset Windows 7 password without a Windows password reset disk or a download?” or the other user asked “I forgot Windows administrator password on my account using windows 7. I would still use the other accounts but they have parental controls. How can I reset Windows 7 password?” There are countless pc users have the similar trouble of forgetting Windows 7 Administrator password, and many of them are used to look for help from , as following,

This is indeed a fast and efficient way to seek out your answer. However, only trouble is that you may not find the satisfied one from the various answers. In order to meet those users, this article summarized over four Windows 7 password recovery solutions, and some Windows help sites, like http://windows.microsoft.com . When you read this article, I hope you have got the final solution to recover Windows 7 Administrator password.

Solution 1: Reset Windows 7 password with Windows password reset disk

1. If you enter the wrong password when you attempt to log on, Windows displays a message that the password is incorrect. Click OK to close the message.

2. Click Reset password, and then insert Windows password reset disk (or other removable media).

3. Follow the steps in the Password Reset Wizard to create a new password.

4. Log on with the new password. If you forget your password again, you can use the same password reset disk. You don’t need to make a new one.

Troubleshooting

The Windows password reset disk cannot be used to reset the password on another computer. The password reset disk cannot be used to reset the password on another computer.

The Windows password reset disk contains sensitive information. Other users may be able to use the password reset disk to gain access to your computer. For this reason, store this disk in a safe and secure location

Solution 2: Reset Windows 7 password with another admin account

1. Log on to the administrator account that you will use to reset the forgotten password.

2. Open Local Users and Groups by clicking the Start button , typing lusrmgr.msc into the Search box, and then pressing ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

3. Double-click Local Users and Groups, and then click Users.

4. Right-click the account that you need to reset the password for, and then click Set Password.

5. Type and confirm the new password.

Solution 3: Reset Windows 7 password from the command prompt

In the command prompt you can monitor all the user of the computer by typing some commands.

Press Win Key+R and type “cmd” in the Run command box and hit enter to open command prompt.

Type “net user” in the command prompt and hit “Enter“. This will show all the users of the computer.

Now suppose that you want to change the password of the user “xyz“.
So type the following command and hit enter.
net user <username> *
For instance in this example the user name is xyz. So the command should be
net user xyz *
Now in the command prompt you will be prompted to enter a password for the user. Note that the ****** format is not available here. Put your password and hit “Enter“. You have to retype the password again for confirmation

Voila! You have changed the password of the user without knowing the older password of the user. It is a simple hack to change the password of any user easily from the command prompt in Windows XP.

But the drawback of this technique is that you can’t reset Windows password of the users if you do not have the Administrator privilege. So it is quite hard to change the password of the users without logging in as the administrator.

Solution 4: Reset Windows 7 password with Windows password reset CD

If you have neither another administrator nor Windows password reset disk, you’d better DIY a Windows password reset CD to reset Windows 7 password without reinstalling. Just following steps, even a novice is able to handle this Windows password recovery software with ease.

1. Download Windows Password Unlocker from Password Unlocker Official site
2. Decompress the Windows password unlocker and note that there is an .ISO image file. Burn the image file onto a blank CD with the burner freely supported by Password Unlocker.
3. Insert the Windows password reset CD into the locked computer and re-boots it from the CD drive.
4. After launched the CD, a window pop up with all your account names (if you have several accounts); select one of the accounts that you have forgotten its password to reset it. Just one press, you have reset Windows password.

Well, the four solutions are the popular Windows 7 password recovery ways.

In addition, there are some good help sites which also provide detailed solutions to reset Windows 7 password for those who forgot Windows Administrator password.
Like http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm and http://windows.microsoft.com

SEO experts often forget that there are three major search engines. While there is no doubt that Google is the number one with the most searches and Yahoo! manages to get about a quarter of the market, MSN has not retired yet. It holds about 10-15 percent of the searches (according to some sources even less – about 5%) but it has a loyal audience that can’t be reached through the other two major search engines, so if you plan a professional SEO campaign, you can’t afford to skip MSN. In a sense getting high rankings in MSN is similar to getting high rankings for less popular keywords – because competition is not that tough you might be able to get enough visitors from MSN only in comparison to the case when you have optimized for a more popular search engine.

Although optimizing for MSN is different from optimizing for Google and Yahoo!, there are still common rules that will help you to rank high in any search engine. As a rule, if you rank well in Google, chances are that you will rank well in Yahoo! (if you are interested in the tips and tricks for optimizing for Yahoo!, you want to have a look at the Optimizing for Yahoo! Article) and MSN as well. The opposite is not true, however. If you rank well in MSN, there is no guarantee that you’ll do the same in Google. So, when you optimize for MSN, keep an eye on your Google ranking as well. It’s no good to top MSN and be nowhere in Google (the opposite is more acceptable, if you need to make the choice).

But why is this so? The answer is simple – the MSN algorithm is different and that is why, even if the same pages were indexed, the search results will vary.

The MSN Algorithm

As already mentioned, it is the different MSN algorithm that leads to such drastic results in ranking. Otherwise, MSN, like all search engines, first spiders the pages on the Web, then indexes them in its database and after that applies the algorithm to generate the pages with the search results. So, the first step in optimizing for MSN is the same as for the other search engines – to have a spiderable site. (Have a look at Search Engine Spider Simulator to see how spiders see your site). If your site is not spiderable, then you don’t have even a hypothetical chance to top the search results.

There is quite a lot of speculation about the MSN algorithm. Looking at the search results MSN delivers, it is obvious that its search algorithm is not as sophisticated as Google’s, or even Yahoo!’s and many SEO experts agree that the MSN search algorithm is years behind its competitors. So, what can you do in this case? Optimize as you did for Google a couple of years ago? You are not far from the truth, though actually is is not that simple.

One of the most important differences is that MSN still relies heavily on metatags, as explained below. None of the other major search engines uses metatags that heavily anymore. It is obvious that metatags give SEO Company a great opportunity for manipulating search results. Maybe metatags are the main reason for the inaccurate search results that MSN often produces.

The second most important difference between MSN and the other major search engines is their approach to keywords. Well, for MSN keywords are very, very important, too, but unlike Google, for MSN onpage factors are dominating, while offpage factors (like backlinks for example), are still of minor importance. Well, it is a safe bet that the importance of backlinks will be changed in the future but for now they are not a primary factor for high rankings.

Keywords, Keywords, Keywords

It is hardly surprising that keywords are the most important item for MSN. What is surprising is that MSN relies too much on them. It is very easy to fool MSN – just artificially inflate your keyword density, put a couple of keywords in file names (and even better – in domain names) and around the top of the page and you are almost done for MSN. But if you do the above-mentioned black hat practices, your joy of topping MSN will not last long because, unless you provide separate pages that are optimized for Google, your stuffed pages might pretty well get you banned from Google. If you decide to have separate pages for Google and MSN, first, it it hardly worth the trouble, and second, the risk of duplicate content penalty can’t be ignored.

So, what is the catch? The catch is that if you try to polish your site for MSN and stuff it with keywords, this might get you into trouble with Google, which certainly is worse than not ranking well in MSN. But if you optimize wisely, it is more likely than not that you will rank decently in Google and perform well in Yahoo! and MSN as well.

Metatags

Having meaningful metatags never hurts but with MSN this is even more important because its algorithm still uses them as a primary factor in calculating search results. Having well-written (not stuffed) metatags will help you with MSN and some other minor search engines, while at the same time well-written metatags will not get you banned from Google.

The Description metatag is very important:

MSNBot reads its content and based on that (in addition to keywords found on page) judges how to classify your site. So if you leave this tag empty (i.e. CONTENT=””), you have missed a vital chance to be noticed by MSN. There is no evidence that MSN uses the other metatags in its algorithm that is why leaving the Description metatag empty is even more unforgivable.

Who has the time to read anymore? You do, if you make the time. It’s easier than you might think, with these tools and tips that find, recommend and format good reading anywhere you want to dive into it.

10. Make your reading bookmarks stand out
If read-later services aren’t your thing, your browser’s bookmark bar can be a convenient place to stash articles and posts you plan to getting around to. You can do what Lifehacker reader leftymcrighty does, though, for better placement: reduce your permanent bookmarks (email, search sites, banking, etc.) down to icons by removing the names, and let your other bookmarks, with titles, serve as a reading list. Simple, no software required, and bound to get you reading more, lest your bookmark bar clutter up too much.

9. Read while working out
If the weather or convenience put you on an exercise bike, elliptical, or other machine where you’ve got little to do but stare ahead, it’s not that hard to get more self-improvement done by reading at the same time. This Instructables post on a handlebar-mounted book holder shows that nearly any model can be fitted with a cheap, easy-to-affix book stand. (Original post)

8. Speed up your reading
You should savour clever fiction. Your average memo, however, can and should be hacked through at a faster pace. Speed reading guide Kris Madden explains in the video above how voicing out “A-E-I-O-U” or “one, two, three, four” as you read actually cancels out your subconscious tendency to read with your larynx, just below the audible level. This not only moves you quickly through the text, but provides a more visual, memorable read. There are plenty of apps on the web, too, that can help you speed through a particular text and learn to do it on any text: Spreeder, WordFlashReader, and ZAP Reader are just a few. (Original post)

7. Read Better on iPhones with Stanza
The Kindle’s great, we’re sure the Nook is a proper reader, and, sure, Sony’s device is good at what it does. But when it comes to beautiful presentation of digital reading on a small screen, Stanza’s got it all over those clients, at least on the iPhone or iPod touch. It has its own book store, offering copies of popular contemporary works, along with quite a few sources to grab free historical works, like Shakespeare’s complete works, Edgar Allan Poe, and whatever else you’re looking to get educated on.

6. Find your next read
Not all of us have a local book shop staffed by the most knowledgeable and well-read workers on Earth. For recommendations on what you’d like, based on what you’ve just finished, we can turn to many spots on the net. What Should I Read Next? is a straight-up recommendation service, fed by the reading list you provide. WhichBook is a bit more subjective, asking you to move sliders to indicate how much of any element (monsters, dystopia, romance—oh my!) you want in your reading. For the social take on what your friends have read, are reading, and recommend, try BookArmy or the veritable GoodReads. (Original posts: WhichBook, BookArmy).

5. Convert any file to an PDF eBook
If you’ve got a scaned file, or an Powerpoint（.ppt）you ripped yourself, you’d probably want your ebook reader to save your place as you make your way through the narrative. Starting with Tweak PDF converter, it’seasy to convert files to PDF format, complete with high speed and accurate.Tweak All To PDF 3.0 converts any printable files to PDF. Word, Excel, PPT, HTML, images, Notepad files, etc. It helps you to easily get a PDF document from these files to enjoy the PDF advantages. The converter is reliable and the conversion is safe with no data lost, formatting distortion, etc. The program automatically creates a short-cut button in the menu, handier for the conversion.

4. Find instructional and how-to PDFs
Some how-to projects and tasks only require a single web page of instructions. Other times, you’d really like a deeper read. Search PDF is a custom Google search that brings back only PDF files, opens them in Scribd’s no-software-required viewer, and hones the search in on tutorials, instructions, and manuals. For alternative PDF finders, there’s the ebook search at PDF Search Engine and simply using filetype:pdf in a Google search. (Original post)

3. Collect articles with Instapaper & Read It Later
Which mark-for-later, read-anytime app reigns supreme? Depends on how you like to use them.Read It Later tightly integrates with Firefox through its extension, which also hosts your want-to-read articles offline, but also offers bookmarklets for every browser, including the iPhone. Instapaperseems to have the more focused iPhone app, but offers the same multi-browser bookmarklets. Come to think of it, they’re both pretty great in their own way at making lengthy web reading accessible anywhere.

2. Get new books for old ones
Unless you only read leather-bound first editions, there are probably a few books laying around your shelves that could find a better life in a book swap. The internet abounds with places to do it: Zunafish, currently offline but offering $US1-per-book trades,PaperBackSwap, and the free BookMooch are just a few. If getting a new book isn’t necessary, you could simply tag your book with a BookCrossing tagand watch it travel the world. (Original posts: BookMooch, BookCrossing)

1. Make web text more eye-friendly
Instapaper and Read It Later, mentioned above, do a decent job of converting news articles and blog posts to a stripped-down, text-forward format. With customizable browser bookmarklets, though, you get your reading exactly how you want it.Readability is an early and popular entrant in the category, while Clippable and Readable App aim for even more minimalism and customisation. If you’re an RSS fan, Readefine Desktop, an Adobe Air app and web project, can lay out your daily feed reading in newspaper-style columns with minimal interruption. (Original posts: Readability, Readability 2/Clippable, Readable App, Readefine)

Myth: if it is encrypted, it is secure.

Truth: if it is not encrypted, it is not secure.

Before creating a password you should know:

â‘´ NO password is uncrackable. The best you can do is making it difficult and non-trivial to determine your password.

What’s the worst password? The one you’ve forgotten.

Password recovery is the most difficult process, sometimes even is impossible.

⑵Whatever method you choose, it’s a good idea to change your password often.

The more important the password, the more often it should be changed.

Why? If someone is attempting a brute-force attack on your password, the hope is that you’re changing it to something they’ve already tried and found to be wrong.

⑶The longer the password, the harder it is to ‘guess.’

Note: many systems limit passwords to 8 characters.

Some clever people are foregoing brute-force hacks (e.g. dictionary attacks), in favor of ‘social engineering’ to obtain passwords.

If somebody calls or emails, requesting your password, it’s a dumb idea to give it to them.

Of course nobody would sticky-note a password to their monitor, or under a keyboard. A good password is one that’s hard to guess, yet easy to remember.

So here are the 6 steps to build a strong password related to you but look no relation.

It also used to avoid common password strategies that fail .

The strongest passwords look like a random string of characters to attackers. It will be perfect if it begins with a letter and mixes with capital letters and small letters and numbers and special characters.

Let’s try to make strong 6 characters password.

1. Think of something that you really want.

Example: “I want 1 million dollars.”

2. Turn your sentence into a password.

try character encoding scheme in this case: “iw1m$”.

3. Add complexity to your password or pass phrase Mix uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers.

Introduce intentional misspellings. For example, in the sentence above, you might substitute the letter i for  the word  “I”, so a password might be “Iw1m$”.

4. Substitute some special characters

Use symbols that look like letters, combine words, or replace letters with numbers to make the password complex. You see, 1=1.0. Using these strategies, you might end up with the password “Iw1.m$”

5. Test your new password with Password Checker

Password Checker evaluates your password’s strength as you type.

6. Keep your password a secret

Treat your passwords with as much care as the information that they protect.

Qualities of strong passwords

Password Length

Each character you add to your password increases the protection it provides.

8 or more characters are the minimum for a strong password;

14 characters or longer are ideal.

Password Complexity

The greater variety of characters that you have in your password, the harder it is to guess.

An ideal password combines both length and different types of symbols.

Use the entire keyboard. Easy to remember, hard to guess The easiest way to remember your passwords is to write them down. It is OK to write passwords down, but keep them secret so they remain secure and effective.

Note:

Avoid sequences or repeated characters

“12345678,” “222222,” “abcdefg,” or adjacent letters on your keyboard do not make secure passwords.

Avoid using only look-alike substitutions of numbers or symbols

Criminals will not be fooled by common look-alike replacements, such as to replace an ‘i’ with a ’1′ or an ‘a’ with ‘@’ as in “M1cr0$0ft” or “P@ssw0rd”.

Avoid your login name

don’t use any part of your name, birthday, social security number, or similar information for your loved ones. This type of information is one of the first things criminals will try, and they can find it easily online from social networking sites, online resumes, and other public sources of data.

Avoid dictionary words in ANY language

Criminals use sophisticated tools that can rapidly guess passwords that are based on words in multiple dictionaries, including words spelled backwards, common misspellings, profanity, and substitutions.

Avoid using only one password for all your accounts If your password is compromised on any one of the computers or online systems that use it, you should consider all of your other information protected by that password compromised as well. This post may be a little late.

If you need password recovery like windows password recovery, windows Password Reset 7.0 also supports windows 7 password reset.you should refer to How to Recover and Reset Password in windows 7/Vista/XP/2003/2K/NT for Free. .

Glarysoft Ltd. （http://www.glarysoft.com）launched the freeware Absolute Uninstaller 2.8.0.636 recently, a single tool out of the predominant package of PC maintenance software—Glary Utilities. As the uninstall tool is extremely popular and widely-praised for its completely uninstall function, it is extracted out as an independent freeware and includes many unique features to help you stay on top of your software installations.

Absolute Uninstaller is a much more powerful and faster alternative to “Windows Add or Remove Programs” applet. Through the standard Add/Remove program you never uninstall applications completely ,but always leave junks behind such as associated desktop icons, start menu entries, broken registry keys, unnecessary files on the hard disk. The more junk files your computer has, the slower it runs. Absolute Uninstaller can wipe off all the junk files clearly during seconds of an uninstall process.

Completely Uninstall
Whenever you uninstall a program either with its own uninstaller or “Windows Add or Remove Programs” applet, there may leave leftovers behind. These broken registry and large number of unnecessary files would gradually burden the system and make it slower and slower. Absolute Uninstaller can remove any remnants of programs in seconds while uninstalliing!

Fast and secure
Launching the program and displaying the list of installed programs is much faster than that of the control panel. You can uninstall one by one manually, or choose batch unintallation or search a program through a handy search function. Absolute Uninstaller supports backing up the uninstall information in case you change your mind, thus, any uninstallation is restorable.

Intuitive interface
Absolute Uninstaller not only lists all programs with all information about appropriate icons, publishers and install date, but also marks recently installed program with a red “New”on the right upper side. You can list the programs by either their names or installation date and easily find out the applications you want to uninstall.

Many times we face this problem when we forget or lost Windows password or somebody had changed the password of our system. In such a situation either we have to install windows again or find a solution to reset the password so that we can log into Windows easily.
